MEDPAGE MODEL MP-2 NOCTURNAL EPILEPTIC CONVULSIVE SEIZURE MONITOR

The Medpage MP2 incorporates a bed sensor for convulsive seizure detection and is equipped with a microphone for the detection of aural sounds. Three simple controls provide bed sensor and microphone sensitivity and movement alarm delay. The sensor is positioned under the patients mattress. Should seizure activity begin, the sensor detects the abnormal movement. When the movement has continued beyond the delay setting an alarm output is generated. The MP2 is equipped with a transmitter that sends an identification signal to a radio pager, desktop alarm receiver and or a telephone auto dialler. Each part can be purchased separately. The MP2 transmitter has a range of 100 Metres and can be extended using signal repeaters. For use in care homes or hospitals, up to four individual monitors can be identified by the pager and or desktop alarm receiver.

FOUR CHANNEL VIBRATING  PAGER TO IDENTIFY FOUR INDIVIDUAL BED MONITORS.

Robust, lightweight and simple to use. The pager measures H 95mm W 55mm D 18mm and weighs only 83g including the battery. When triggered by a bed monitor, the pager vibrates for 30 seconds, unless manually reset. Four different coloured LED’s are used to identify bed monitors from 1 - 4. A reset switch provides an alarm cancel. One press of the reset switch cancels the vibration a second press of the reset switch cancels the flashing channel LED. Supplied with charger. The pager operates from a rechargeable 9 VOLT PP3 type battery with a single charge providing 72 hours use. General Specification: Frequency 433.92 MHz. Coding by dip switch. Operating range 100M. For night time use when care staff may be in bed, a plug in vibrator pad is available. This is a method used to wake Deaf People and so is a very reliable means of waking people without disturbing others.

KS-4 FOUR CHANNEL DESKTOP ALARM RECEIVER

The KS-4 responds to alarm signals from the MP2 bed monitors. A built in sounder operates until the red reset button is pressed. Four numbered flashing LED’s provide indication of the active bed monitor. The KS-4 is powered by an AC power adaptor with built in battery backup. The KS-4 is easily moved from room- to - room due to its lightweight and compact construction. The KS-4 can be used in conjunction with the ELVP-4 pager to provide nurse station and mobile alerts to ongoing seizures. Dimensions: L 150mm  W 105mm D 45mm. Radio frequency 433.92 MHz.
