PHOTO-ELECTRIC BEAM SENSORS - INFRARED BEAM ALARM
The FT25B is a two part infrared beam system. The infrared beam receiver is powered by 12V DC and is equipped with an output relay having N/O N/C contacts. The transmitter can be powered by either 12V DC or 2 x AA 3.6V Lithium batteries. Battery life is over two years. Installation is very quick and strait forward with easy beam alignment.
Typical uses include:
Automatic gate controllers - gate or walk-way alarm systems. Shop doorway-entrance alarms (see transmitter kits)
Burglar alarm systems - interface with existing alarm systems. Automatic lighting controllers
Detection of people in restricted areas. Vehicle alarms - detection of forklift trucks over height limit etc

INFRARED BEAM ALARM WITH POCSAG MESSAGE TRANSMITTER
This kit uses the FT25B beam set as detailed above. The transmitter is a messaging
transmitter that sends pre-programmed messages to an alphanumeric display pager that
displays messages of up to 40 characters. If multiple beams are used, location messages
can be sent to the pager. Gate 4, as an example. The range of the transmitter is
400 Metres and can be extended to 1.5 KM using a the EM1500U signal repeater. The
beam kit is supplied with a power supply and can be powered by a 12 Volt DC source
such as a car battery. Suitable for outdoor use.
