FIRE ALARM PAGING SYSTEMS FOR DEAF PEOPLE - Interfaces with commercial fire alarm panels
This fire alarm interfacing kit is to enable signals from a fire alarm panel to be transmitted through a data paging system to provide vibrating alarms to warn deaf people of fire in public buildings.
A transmitter is fitted through a monitored connection to the fire alarm panel. The transmitter can be programmed with fire zone information to warn the deaf person not only to operation of the fire alarm but also the exact location. An alphanumeric pager with vibrating alert clearly displays the information.
Any number of pagers can be added to the system and all will be group called in the event of a fire. As deaf visitors arrive, whether for a conference, staying at a hotel or as an employee, they are issued with a pager. Additionally, each pager has a unique code that can be used for individual paging. All members of staff can use pagers. When it comes to individual paging requirements, the system is very flexible.
