WANDER PREVENTION - PIR MOVEMENT DETECTOR & DOOR ALARM TO PAGER

The equipment on this page can be used to provide a very simple means of receiving an alarm via radio pager when a door is opened. Whether it be an internal or external door, up to three doors can be individually monitored. If a door is opened a signal is transmitted to a vibrating pager. Ideal for care staff on the move to prevent a person leaving a building or their room where they could be in danger, or a danger to others. The fourth channel of the pager is reserved for tamper information should someone attempt to sabotage a transmitter. The battery PIR transmitter can be used for temporary monitoring of a person in care who may be at risk from falls. The transmitter can either be positioned on the wall at the foot of a bed or simply positioned on the floor.If the person attempts to sit up (wall mounted) the infra-red movement detector will signal the alarm to the pager. If positioned on the floor, the infra-red beam would detect their legs as they pass over the side of the bed.

Four channel vibration only

Pager offers numerous solutions for person to person paging, security and patient care requirements. Robust, lightweight and simple to use. The pager measures H 95mm W 55mm D 18mm and weighs only 83g including the battery. When triggered by a compatible transmitter, the pager vibrates for 30 seconds. A transmitter identification LED flashes.  A reset switch provides an alarm cancel. One press of the reset switch cancels the vibration a second press of the reset switch cancels the flashing channel LED. Supplied with charger. The pager operates from a rechargeable 9 VOLT PP3 type battery with a single charge providing 72 hours use. General Specification: Frequency 433.92 MHz. Coding by dip switch. Operating range 100M.

Door Contact Magnetic Switch

 Useful security device to monitor doors and windows being opened. When the two halves of the switch are separated a signal is transmitted to the pager. Simple to install. PIR Movement Detector Transmitter

Battery operated PIR - infrared movement detector. Suitable for detecting a person leaving their bed, simply position the sensor on the floor facing down the side of a patients bed. If an attempt is made to leave the bed a signal is transmitted to the pager. The PIR can also be fixed to a bed head wall to detect a person sitting up in bed. This application is more suited to short term care or a temporary solution if a person is at risk from falls. PIR operated by 9V PP3 battery. Switches to select channel ID displayed by pager.

Pressure Mat Alarm For Use With 4-Channel Pager ELVP-4

The DM-005 pressure mat alarm provides an economical method of identifying alarm transmissions from up to four individual pressure mat transmitters. The pager, rechargeable and with vibrate only alarm, features four coloured LED’s each representing a mat transmitter. When a signal is received, the pager vibrates for 30 seconds, unless the alarm cancel button is pressed. The transmitter is powered by 1 x 9V PP3 battery or equivalent.
