TED-01 Emergency telephone auto dialler with neck cord transmitter.

A simple to set up system that allows an elderly or disabled person to press a transmitter attached to a neck cord that remotely activates a telephone auto dialler. The dialler can store up to four emergency contact numbers. Friends, family, neighbours, professional caregivers can all be automatically telephoned by the press of a button.

No monthly charges or monitoring contracts involved. All that is required for use is an active telephone line (BT or Cable company) Suitable for home care of the elderly, disabled, or people at risk at home alone.

The TED-01 allows you to record your own outgoing message of up to 20 seconds. When the emergency call is received by someone on your call list the recorded message is played to them. When the message has played three times, a built in two-way intercom function cuts in to allow hands free conversation for up to three minutes. Transmitter to dialler range is 60 Metres. Up to eight transmitters can be used with one TED-01 dialler. The TED-01 operates from AC power adaptor with battery backup provided by 4 x AA batteries. So even in a power cut, the dialler will still operate.
