Medpage Limited are BSI accredited to the highest level and maintain registration through annual BSI audits to ISO EN 13485:2003 and ISO EN 9001:2008. Our monitors are designed and manufactured in accordance with the medical directive EEC 93/42/EEC as amended by 2007/47EC and carry BSI CE mark based on Annex V for manufacture and quality assurance.
Our monitors are produced to the highest possible standards in a quality monitored environment. Staff are trained to comply with the requirements of ISO 134485:2003. Our staff are able to offer expert advice and technical support, if required.
The Medpage MP5 was first introduced to the UK market during 1996 when the original product was designed at the request of an Occupational Therapist. A family was in turmoil as the 13 year old daughter was, at the time, sharing the mothers bed. With a marriage suffering, the stress and anxiety causing unimaginable problems, clearly a solution was urgently required. The original concept monitor was sent to the family for testing. Within two weeks, the family were confident enough with the equipment for the daughter to return to her own bed. Marriage saved, more importantly, the birth of a product that has helped over 12,000 families to sleep better at night knowing that their loved ones have a guardian angel, the Medpage seizure monitor.
All Medpage seizure monitors are priced to be affordable by families. We are often asked why are they much cheaper than other systems? The answer is quite simple. Sometimes it is unwise to pay too much for a product, sometimes it is unwise to pay too little.
