SECNURSE optical bed occupancy detection system. There are many more bed and chair
occupancy alarm options available including optical detection (not PIR) systems that
use photo-optics to detect the presence of a person on a bed (no video or pictures
taken). These systems are more appropriate for special care patient rooms where long
term “at risk” patients sleep. The components are fixed high on a wall above the
bed away from patients, eliminating concerns over cross-user contamination. Various
alarm outputs provide; nurse call connection, radio paging and community alarm connectivity.
An infrared remote control makes setup, arming and disarming convenient for staff.
With optional 15 minute alarm
delay switch.
