The Nanny uses sophisticated electronics to provide a simple to use and reliable means of monitoring a baby’s breathing during sleep. If breathing stops for more than 20 seconds or less than eight breaths (irregular breathing) per minute are detected, a loud sound alarm operates. In use, the sensor sheet is placed under the cot or crib mattress. Baby is then placed in their normal sleeping position. The sensor is connected to the alarm control box that can be fixed to the cot side using the attached hook and loop fastener, or the control box can be positioned outside of the bedroom using the sensor extension cord also provided.
The Nanny, reliably detects the breathing movements of children and will produce an alarm should breathing stop.
The Nanny, is a certified medical device and is designed and manufactured to extremely high standards. The monitor has self testing circuitry that indicates low battery warnings, sensor failure or removal.
The Nanny makes no physical contact with the baby and produces no harmful emissions whatsoever.
